Developing independent and proficient readers is a priority at Hampstead Primary School.

Every student has dedicated reading time every day.

Our daily D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read) provides dedicated time with a focus on developing reading skills.

Our STARFORCE students visit other classes and listen to younger students read. These students are trained to actively listen and practice critical comprehension skills.
